About this trail

A rugged canyon trek through one of Al Sharqiyah's least-crowded gorges involving boulder-hopping, swimming through turquoise pools, narrow slot passages, and a natural limestone waterslide polished smooth by centuries of flowing water.

Wadi Hawer connects from Wadi Bani Khalid south to Sayq village. The path is unmarked and changes after heavy rain — a local guide is strongly recommended. Access to the first village is on a paved asphalt road.
