About this trail
A fascinating canyon hike inside Madha — a remarkable 75 km² Omani exclave completely surrounded by UAE territory — leading through limestone gorges to seasonal waterfalls, natural pools, and ancient banyan trees.
Iron rungs and ropes assist past the first waterfall. No border controls exist entering Madha but you must cross UAE territory — bring your passport. Phone signal switches to Oman networks (Omantel/Ooredoo) inside the exclave.
