About this trail

A scenic mountain trail through the terraced farms of Wakan Village, climbing 657 well-paved steps through pomegranate, fig, and olive orchards irrigated by a traditional falaj water channel to a panoramic canyon viewpoint.

The trail passes a small mosque, a frog-filled pond, and multiple benches before reaching the main viewpoint over Wadi Mistal canyon at 1,600m. An optional extension leads to the 'meditation rock' — a dramatic cliff-edge viewpoint with another 340m of ascent.
