About Hasik Beach

An isolated beach at the fishing village of Hasik in the far Shaleem area of eastern Dhofar. A remote cove with clear waters surrounded by mountains, accessed via dramatic mountain roads east of Mirbat.

Hasik is one of the most remote fishing communities in Oman. The village was historically more accessible by sea than by road. The mountain descent to Hasik is one of the most dramatic in the country.

Getting there

Fly to Salalah, drive east approximately 160 km past Mirbat through the Shaleem mountains. 4WD essential. The road is rough and remote.
