About this event
Oman's National Day marks the anniversary of the country's Renaissance under Sultan Qaboos on 18 November 1970. A two-day nationwide celebration with military parades, fireworks, cultural performances, and illuminated landmarks across the country.
The streets of Muscat fill with Omani flags and traditional decorations. Qurum Natural Park and Muttrah Corniche are the best locations to experience the festivities. Fireworks light up the Muscat harbour in a spectacular display on the evening of the 18th.
