About this event
An extraordinary cultural festival set inside and around the magnificent 17th century Nizwa Fort. Traditional Omani dance, music performances, falconry displays, silver craftsmanship, traditional food, and the ancient livestock market come alive in spectacular fashion.
The festival is one of the most atmospheric cultural experiences in Oman — the ancient fort as backdrop, incense drifting through the air, and Omanis in traditional dress performing arts that are centuries old. The Friday morning goat and camel market is the standout event.
