About this event

Arabia's most unique festival — held during the Khareef monsoon when Salalah transforms from desert to tropical green paradise while the rest of the Gulf bakes. A cultural extravaganza of traditional music, dance, food, and performances.

The festival runs for six weeks across multiple venues in Dhofar including Salalah, Mirbat, Taqah, and Mekhlaf. 180+ activities including traditional Dhofari folk dancing, frankincense markets, concerts, kite festivals, and guided nature tours through misty green wadis.

Salalah is 1,000km from Muscat — fly (1.5 hrs) or drive (10 hrs). Oman Air runs up to 11 daily flights during Khareef season. Book accommodation weeks in advance.
