About this garden
The largest botanic garden in the Arabian Peninsula — a world-class conservation project on 500 hectares in the Al Hajar Mountain foothills. Features 1,450 native Omani plant species across two biomes and six outdoor habitats.
Handed over to Muscat Municipality in December 2025 after construction spanning 2021–2025. The garden features Oman's first cable car ride, two biomes, wadis, sand deserts, salt flats, and extensive visitor facilities. Opening to the public imminently.
